Athora Law Group has a Legal Support Star!

JoAnn Chamberlain was honored as part of Indiana Lawyer’s Leadership in Law awards. The Legal Support Star recognizes the administrative professionals that are absolutely crucial to keeping the administration of law working. The award is only in its third year. Five support professionals are chosen for the honor.

JoAnn has a bachelor’s degree in Radio, Television, and Digital Communication from Ball State University, where she graduated in 1990. She also graduated with honors from The School of Paralegal Studies in 1995. JoAnn started working at Jones Obenchain, LLP in October of 2005. Aside from a couple brief absences, she worked there until the firm closed in December 2022. JoAnn filled a number of roles for various attorneys while with the firm. She now works at Athora Law Group supporting Jackie Homann as the Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee.

JoAnn is dedicated to her work at Athora Law Group. In her free time, she also has volunteered at Life Action Ministry and One Cry Ministry. She served at her church on the First Impression Team and Meals for Moms. And whenever JoAnn is asked to support the community through her employer, she does that too. At her previous law firm, JoAnn volunteered at Cultivate Food Rescue and the Food Bank of Northern Indiana, among other places.

JoAnn has an incredible heart and goes out of her way to love and support others. She doesn’t seek attention or glory for her work, instead quietly doing her job and serving those around her. Yet she’s always ready to lift up others and see that they get recognition for their accomplishments. JoAnn is also an amazing baker, often treating her coworkers with her delicious creations.

JoAnn was honored at the Indiana Lawyer’s Leadership in Law breakfast in Indianapolis. She’s featured in the current edition of the Indiana Lawyer.

Please join us in congratulating JoAnn on this most-deserved award!
